Hallo zusammen,

Liebe Grüsse
OpenVMS Team

Dear Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Customers,

I am writing to let you know that registration is now open for this year's European Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Technical Forums. Topics to be covered at the Forums include:

  • Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS Product Status and Direction
  • HP OpenVMS Update
  • Itanium System Update
  • Training
  • What is New in Oracle Rdb 7.2
  • What's new in 11g for OpenVMS
  • Oracle Rdb JDBC and ODP.NET Update
  • Oracle Rdb Advanced Buffering Techniques
  • Grid Control Agent Update
  • Oracle Audit Vault Update
  • Oracle Rdb Sorted Ranked Indexes

A final agenda for these and other talks for these three events will be posted online at the registration page in a few weeks.

The dates and locations for the three European Forums are:

May 3-4       Brussels       Belgium
May 6-7       Munich       Germany
May 10-11       Reading       England

While face-to-face meetings and interactions are an invaluable part of the Forums, we recognize that sometimes it is difficult to get away from the office and travel. Therefore, as we did in the US last fall, attendance will be opened to those who cannot join us in person. Remote attendees will be sent the information needed to join us in a live online Forum web conference for the Forums for which they registered prior to the start of the event. To receive this information, remote attendees must send an email to "InfoRdb_US@oracle.com" after they have registered indicating that they will be attending remotely.

In conjunction with these Forums, JCC Consulting will be offering a series of training seminars in these same Forum locations. For details on the JCC seminars being offered go to the JCC Forum Seminar Website.

These Forums are offered at no charge and present a series of sessions conducted by acknowledged technical specialists from our development staff and the Oracle Rdb and Oracle Database on OpenVMS community at large. They should be considered a requirement for anyone wishing to remain up-to-date with all the latest enhancements and optimizations in either of these two product families.

We are very excited to be bringing the 2010 European Technical Forums to you. I encourage you to register and join us in Brussels, Munich or Reading this May.

Best regards,
Kevin Duffy
